Sleek, sturdy, and well made. We would order this again! The one downside (which may not be a downside to everyone) is that it is 5lb increments instead of the 2.5 increments that some adjustable dumbbells offer. Otherwise, we really love this aesthetically pleasing piece of equipment.

Love them. My only complaint is that I fear that they fall apart. So you’re going to have to be gentle with these you can’t slam them around lol but it is nice to have the capability of going that high in weight. There is a two year warranty with them that’s available that I would recommend getting just to ease the mind. YOU MUST GET THE STAND… it’s the only way. Makes it so much better

I’ve only had them a week, but they seem perfect so far. The weights change quickly and easily. The grip is solid and feels like a regular dumbbell. They are compact and don’t take up much room. Only slight compaint is the weights are a little narrow and hit my wrists with a sharp edge on tricep kickbacks, but it is manageable by holding the dumbbell closer to one end. Some of the YouTube reviews, which were all positive, questioned the durability of the connectors when placing them back in the cradle, but time will tell and you simply need to be more careful. In short, I love them.

My third dumbbell from this company and maybe they’re just too fancy to be treated like weights in a gym. The mechanism to adjust the weight has broken twice. And in about as gentle with these things as can be. Disappointing.

I purchased a pair of the Gym Army Nuoebells through Amazon. I ordered two and one did arrive damaged. They are quite heavy and the packaging would be sufficient if UPS would have handled them better. Rather than return the item to Amazon for an exchange, I contacted Gym Army directly and the customer support was fantastic. They asked for pictures of the damaged parts and they sent out replacement parts without hesitation. I am very happy with the product and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great set of adjustable dumbells. I would suggest purchasing the stand to make picking them up less awkward plus it would be better for ergonomic purposes. I will be ordering one soon.

These dumbbells are the most professional feeling and comfortable to grip and change the weight needed in 5 lb increments in seconds with a simple twist of the handle. Best dumbbells I’ve ever even thought of owning. 5-80 lbs in a matter of seconds!!! No one compares! It’s like owning 16 sets of gym quality dumbbells in one set. I’ve owned two other types, both with an adjustment dial on the ends. Both worked fine until plates started dropping off during use. These seem to be infinitely better. The flat ends make resting 80s on your knees before laying back easy and comfortable. I have already recommended them to a coworker. I’ve been lifting religiously for well over 30 years. I’m hard to impress but these have done it.

Great dumbbells!
Highly recommend these dumbbells, especially if you have limited space in your workout area.Prior to buying these I had a set of Bowflex 552s. In comparison, these Nuobells definitely come out on top. They’re easier to change weights, are less bulky, and more closely resemble the shape of an actual dumbbell (which makes it easier to do certain exercises, such as shoulder presses). On top of that, the build quality of the Nuobells is an improvement over the plastic build of the 552s.

PRICEY, BUT WORTH IT
This product is on the expensive side but I have to say it’s definitely worth it. You really get what you pay for. I’ve been on the hunt for adjustable dumbbells for quite a while since I don’t have a ton of space in my apartment for a ton of workout equipment. I’ve tried other adjustable dumbbells and always ended up returning them because they’ve just felt plastic-y and BULKY. I thought I’d give these Nuobell/Gym Army weights a try hoping they were worth the large pricetag and im really glad I did. In the long run they’re way cheaper than buying individual dumbbells and space saving so its honestly a win-win.Another point worth mentioning is that the overall size of the dumbbell will depend on what weight level you select. At 5lbs, the overall size of the dumbbell shrinks to just 1 plate on either side. This is a huge factor when doing specific exercises like shoulder presses. With other adjustable dumbbells (Bowflex, or Powerblock for example) the overall size of the dumbbell does not depend on the weight you select – 5lbs is just as bulky as 50lbs. This is not the case with these dumbbells.Would 100% recommend to friends and family. Shipping was super fast and timely as well. Great buy
